Denver zoo art auction
Christian Dore created four paintings based on his favorite experiences at Denver Zoo. A member for over twenty years, Christian draws inspiration from the zoo and visits frequently often sketching the animals within their habitat.
After hearing of the financial impact the zoo is facing due to the pandemic Christian decided to create four original framed paintings to auction off with proceeds going to Denver Zoo.
The auction was a huge success and raised $1350 for Denver Zoo. Thank you for supporting a great cause.
STARTING BID FOR EACH PAINTING IS $250
ELEPHANT AND CHICKADEE - 11 X 14 FRAMED ART WORK
Elephants are spectacular. I love the grandeur of these magnificent animals. I wanted to capture the size and presence of these creatures as apposed to the delicate size of the Chickadee landing on the elephant’s head.
KOMODO DRAGONS - 11 X 14 FRAMED ART WORK
Komodo Dragons are the largest lizards on Earth. I often gaze at these magnificent creatures as they remind me of my favorite childhood obsession - dinosaurs!
SILVERBACK GORILLA - 11 X 14 FRAMED ART WORK
Silverback gorillas are one of my favorite animals to sketch at the zoo. I particularly like it when a silverback sits outside and gazes into the sunlight through the trees.
HIPPOPOTAMUS - 11 X 14 FRAMED ART WORK
When the hippopotamus bathes in the outdoor pool - it always brings a smile to my face.
Thank you for your support.
